CTA has entered the Central American market for the first time after winning its first tender in El Salvador. Thus, CTA continues to grow in the multilateral market. CTA and its local partner, Consorcio Creativo, have been awarded the tender to support MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), tendered by Francisco Gavidia University of El Salvador and funded by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI).
In particular, the project consists of a consulting service to promote the development and strengthening of 10 Salvadoran MSMEs in the ICT sector, which are part of the Germina Business Incubator and the Micro and Small Enterprise Development Center (CDMYPE UFG), created by the Francisco Gavidia University.
CTA will be responsible for validating business models, conducting market studies and digital marketing plans, seeking financing and supporting the development of communication strategies of the beneficiary companies.
The project, which will be completed by August 30th of this year, has a budget of 142,740 dollars (about 125,300 euros) to support companies from an integral and professional perspective, as part of a long-term sustainable business development.
The overall objective of the consultancy is to provide companies with the skills, tools and capabilities to adjust their business models and, consequently, improve production and service provision, as well as penetration in new markets and improvement of their productivity.
Multilateral Market
This is a new international milestone for CTA that adds its second project funded by a multilateral organization, which are those entities that promote economic development in developing and emerging countries.
In November 2017, CTA debuted in the multilateral market after winning its first tender in Peru, as a member of the consortium that won an entrepreneurship tender tendered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (Minagri) of Peru and funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
