CTA has organised today a webinar on financing instruments and opportunities for SMEs in Chile, within the framework of the European project ConnectEO.
The event aimed to offer recommendations and key information for innovative SMEs that develop Earth Observation technologies and are interested in obtaining financing to internationalise their projects in Chile.
The CTA consultant Víctor Corral has moderated the event, in which Sergio Montero, Scounting Manager of Star-up Chile, and Francisco Sánchez, representative of CDTI in Chile, have also participated, to offer an overview of the financing programmes and tools for European SMEs.
ConnectEO is funded by the European COSME programme with the aim of promoting market access for European Earth Observation SMEs in Chile and Australia. The project focuses on the use of earth observation technologies, i.e., those that use satellite data, to address business opportunities and socio-economic and environmental challenges in the maritime and agricultural sectors.
CTA is the only Spanish partner in this project, in which the European Association of Remote Sensing Companies – EARSC (Belgium) and the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique – PMBA (France) also participate.
