CTA participates in a Tr@nsnet project workshop on the role of 'living labs' for the ecological transition

The Energy and Environment Technical Officer, Germán López, has participated in the workshop “Living Labs: from the idea to sustainable business” held on September 13 at the Zentral Hotel in Zaragoza. This event has been organized by the Foundation for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (FUNSEAM), the CIRCE Foundation and CTA, within the framework of the European Tr@nsnet project.

The event has focused on the creation and redesign of test environments or living labs for technological, social and regulatory innovations linked to the ecological transition. Likewise, the attendees had the opportunity to learn first-hand about four success stories of living labs, in which their value in the field of innovation, their objectives and the characteristics of their operation were highlighted.

European Tr@nsnet project

The European Tr@nsnet project aims to contribute to the energy transition by defining a new model of a university living lab, i.e., a real test bed for open innovation, which is transferable to companies.

Funded by the Interreg-Sudoe programme with a budget of €1,4 million.
