Andalusian companies whose business model is based on knowledge and technology are underfinanced compared to companies in other Spanish and European regions. On the other hand, in the Community, there is a wide range of public and private aid available for the implementation of business innovation activities.
CTA's mission is to promote innovation business activity in Andalusia. In its 17 years of operation, CTA has promoted more than 5,000 R&D&I business projects and has financed almost 800 of them, providing more than 190 million euros of private equity. It has also contributed to raising public funds from companies operating in Andalusia for a volume of more than 80 million euros. CTA is a cluster of innovation driving companies from different economic sectors, all interested in open innovation models, in collaborating with public research groups, technology centers and other innovative companies.
This workshop aims to make a quick review of the most interesting lines of assistance for companies (specifically SMEs), public or private, characterizing them and focusing on those directly managed by the CTA Foundation. Also mentioned will be funding lines from the European Commission, where CTA participates in their management.
The opportunities offered by the European INTECMED project and other projects in which CTA participates with funds from the European Commission will also be presented.
CTA has participated in the management of almost 10 million euros of cascade funds from the EC in the last 3 years.
In addition, interested companies may request bilateral meetings with CTA, where they can present their project and receive advice. The deadline to request a meeting will remain open until March 20.
