Spain is committed to greener development and is implementing various plans and projects related to the blue economy (conservation and restoration of ecosystems and their biodiversity, preservation of the coastline and water resources, digitization of the port and marine sector, sustainable, safe and connected mobility, etc.).
Spain is the European partner with the largest number of research and development facilities in the field of marine energy: the Canary Islands Oceanic Platform, the Vizcaya Marine Energy Platform and the Punta Langosteira Marine Energy Capture Experimental Zone, the second largest wave energy test bed in the world.
The Franco-Spanish Chamber proposes to identify these projects and new needs, and to meet with local stakeholders (regions, port authorities, Spanish companies, etc.), in order to generate new business flows.
