In the face of climate change, sustainable agriculture/livestock farming and renewable energy are presented as solutions to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Agrovoltaics seeks to combine agricultural and energy production systems on the same land. Although this concept has existed for several years, its implementation in Spain is recent and still little known.
To learn more about this concept, we invite you to to participate in this day called "opportunities for technological innovation derived from the implementation of agrovoltaic production systems".The technological challenges presented by the implementation of photovoltaic renewable energy production systems on agricultural land will be presented, both for the agro-livestock sector and for the renewable energy sector. We will also learn directly about 3 successful cases of implementation of these solutions.
The conference, in face-to-face mode, will take place on May 24 at 11 am at the Cajamar cultural center in Almeria.
