The European project P5 Innobroker aims at promoting the Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) in the countries of southern Europe. CTA leads this initiative, co-financed by the COSME program of the European Union (EU), in which five other European entities also participate: the Ea Ecoentreprises cluster (France), the Hellas Technological Center of Thessaloniki (Greece), the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia, the Regional Development Agency of Larnaca and Famagusta (Cyprus) and the Regional Development Agency of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

The Public Procurement of Innovation is a tool to promote innovation from the public sector through the acquisition of innovative solutions or those in the development phase. P5 Innobroker is a strategic project for the European Commission, which thus aims to promote the launch and execution of initiatives for the Public Procurement of Innovation due to its revitalizing effect on the business fabric and the modernization of Public Administrations.
