CTA organizes a panel of experts within the framework of the BIOTRANSFORM project
  • La fundación es el único socio español presente en esta iniciativa impulsada por el programa Horizonte Europa.
  • Al acto acudieron importantes empresas del sector del olivar.

The BIOTRANSFORM project, which was born in October 2022 with the aim of providing European policymakers with an adequate framework for evaluating and developing policies that accelerate the transition towards bio-based circular systems, held an expert panel last week on the choice of routes for the use of waste in the olive sector organized by CTA (Technological Corporation of Andalusia), the only Spanish partner present in the consortium that promotes this Horizon Europe initiative.

Carmen Ronchel, technical manager of the Biotechnology area of CTA, and María García and Paula Rosa, Innovation consultants of the house, were in charge of directing this meeting, which brought together representatives from the University of Jaén, Andaltec, Citoliva, Andalucía Trade and an important company in the table olive sector.
