CTA brought together six European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) from different thematic areas in a webinar organised on Wednesday 13 November with 26 participants, marking a milestone in pan-European collaboration to drive digital transformation in companies and public organisations.
A key role in the digital transformation
EDIHs are key to accelerating the uptake of innovative technologies in Europe. They function as one-stop shops providing technical expertise, technology testing, expert advice and digital skills training. They also excel in offering services such as ‘test before you invest’, which reduces the risks associated with the implementation of new technologies.
This initiative not only improves the competitiveness of companies, but also promotes sustainability and the transition to a more circular future.
A unique meeting for learning and sharing
The event, organised in the framework of the European projects AeroSTREAM and Andalucía Agrotech eDIH, highlighted the importance of EDIHs as tools to connect innovative digital solutions with local needs, thanks to their strong regional presence and pan-European network collaboration.
Under the title ‘Driving Digital Transformation: Meet the Digital Innovation Hubs’, the webinar presented best practices and success stories in sectors such as aerospace, agri-food, robotics and creative industries.
