On May 4, the first technical working day of the MoniCa operational group will be held at the ASAJA Cadiz headquarters, where companies in the agricultural sector and individual farmers in the province of Cadiz will have the opportunity to learn about the MoniCa project and discover the advantages that the crop agro-monitoring system developed in MoniCa can bring them.
The MoniCa project has developed an Integral Platform that offers agromonitoring services based on IoT, Artificial Intelligence and the assimilation of satellite, Open Data and in situ data for extensive herbaceous crops (cereals, leguminous, industrial and forage crops) throughout the province of Cadiz. It integrates information so far dispersed in different types of solutions: Geospatial Information, IoT Sensors, OpenData and Satellite Images, forming a single Big data database in which a cross analysis is carried out with all the information through the use of predictive Machine Learning techniques.
Project financed by FEADER funds from the European Union and by the Junta de Andalucía through the Consejería de Agricultura, Ganadería, Pesca y Desarrollo Sostenible.
