Conference “Development of Local Energy Communities at the Iberian Level – Challenges and Solutions”

The entities AREAL and Universidade do Algarve, partners of the European project AGERAR PLUS of which CTA is a part, organize next January 16, from 08:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (WET, Portuguese time), at the Pedagogical Complex - Campus Penha de Faro (Portugal) the project launch event in hybrid format (in-person and broadcast via streaming).

The general objective set by AGERAR PLUS is to take advantage of the potential of cooperation to consolidate the innovative and scientific framework of both countries in terms of energy, following the line of the previous AGERAR and AGERAR II projects. By combining previous experiences and technological potential of both countries, it is expected to contribute to the improvement of research capabilities in advanced energy technologies. AGERAR PLUS is focused on improving energy efficiency by promoting the figure of the small and medium prosumer and energy communities through the use of information and communication technologies.
