Public Consultation New Industry Law

The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism is launching the public consultation process on a new Industry Law, in order to gather the opinion of the most representative individuals and organizations potentially affected by the future regulation.

The new Industry Law must respond to the needs and major challenges that the current law, which dates back to 1992, does not offer. The industrial strength of Spain, and Europe, is a priority and a key vector of the European economic recovery plan, "Next Generation EU."Therefore, the objective of the Law will not only be to regulate industrial activity in Spain, but also to establish instruments and procedures for industrial policy and promotion that will allow for the adequate, efficient and rapid adaptation and transformation of Spanish industry to face all these present and future changes and situations.
