ESIC celebrates one more year the Aster Awards ofWestern Andalusia, professionals, organizations and companies of any kind from Cordoba, Cadiz, Seville and Huelva. Cordoba, Cadiz, Seville and Huelva can opt to be awarded and obtain the statuette.

This 2022 will mark the 40th 40ª edition of the ESIC Aster Awards, whose objective is to value and recognize the merit and work of companies, professionals and institutions in the aforementioned provinces and to emphasize the importance of integration between business life and academic training.

The categories of participation are:

  1. 'Business Trajectory', which welcomes entries from both large companies and SMEs.which accepts nominations from both large companies and SMEs, recognizing the achievements of those privately or publicly The achievements of those privately or publicly owned companies that have stood out throughout their history are recognized.
  2. 'Best Entrepreneur'.reserved for oriented to entrepreneurial projects with a minimum trajectory of 3 years and a maximum of 10 years, recognizes the achievements of those who have created their own companies and have developed significant achievements in them.
  3. Marketingwhich was held for the first time in the 2021 edition, distinguishes the companies that have best identified the needs of their consumers, offering new value propositions for them, achieving competitive advantages in their markets, and a clear difference with their competitors.
  4. ' Digital innovation This award identifies companies that have driven a process of business transformation by taking advantage of new technologies, dynamizing their business models and making a qualitative leap in their competitive capacity. If the jury deems it appropriate, any of the categories may be declared void.

Nominations may be submitted applications may be submitted until August 31, 2022. including directly from the companies or organizations that opt for the award, and also from business associations, foundations, corporations, non-profit entities, research centers, workers' groups and unions, or any type of organization. At the individual level, any professional can submit his or her own application or encourage another person to apply.

Once the jury has reached its verdict, the awards will be presented at a ceremony ceremony in Seville, where the winners will be able to collect their statuettes, will appear alongside the winners of the other categories in our communication campaign, and will be able to include this achievement in their professional and corporate milestones.

The winners of the 2021 edition of the Western Andalusia Aster Awards were Grupo Rusvel in the 'Business Trajectory' category, Agrícola El Bosque in the 'Best Entrepreneur' category, Grupo R Queraltó in the 'Digital Innovation' category, and AOKLabs in the Planteada una mezcla de ambas ideas 'Marketing' category. Previous winners in different categories have been companies such as AUSSA, Tecade, Prodiel, Instituto Español, Hispacold, COVAP, Cobre las Cruces, Genera Mobile, Atlantic Cooper, Grupo Azvi, González Byass S.A., Abener, Grupo Puma, Grupo Detea, Sadiel, Elimco, Inerco, Morera & Vallejo, Merkamueble, Merkamueble S.A., Merkamueble S.A., Elimco, Inerco Vallejo, Merkamueble, Aceites del Sur, Álvaro Moreno, Geographica, Media Interactiva, Lantia Publishing, Bluumi, Beatriz Bauzano (founder of 'Las flores no se comen'), Imastroid, Víctor Ayllón García (managing partner of Novayre), Carlos Pérez Tenorio (managing director of Grupo Restalia), Mercedes de la Puerta and Pedro Peinado (founding partners of Spantapájaros) and Ana García González (founder of Cherubina).

The jury of 2022 is composed of Eugenio Barroso García de Leyaristy, CEO of Grupo MP Ascensores, Vicente Cortés Galeano, President of Grupo Inerco, Gonzalo Guillén Benjumea, CEO of Grupo Acesur, Nicolás Sierra Muñoz, managing partner of KPMG Group, Álvaro Ybarra Pacheco, director of ABC Sevilla, Concepción Yoldi García, president of Fundación Persán, María Jesús Catalá Barrera, territorial director of Caixabank, and Jorge Segura Rodríguez, former managing partner of Deloitte.
