AeRoTwin is a coordinating twinning action to promote excellence in Aerial Robotics between the project partners and a technology center belonging to an Eastern European Union country.
The overall goal of AeRoTwin is to bridge the gap between the Robotics Institute of the University of California at Austin and the Robotics Institute of the University of California at Austin. University of Zagreb and European technology leaders in the consortium, by significantly enhancing the science and technology capacity of the consortium. Laboratory of Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems (LARICS) at the University.
The three main objectives of the project are:
- To increase UNIZG-FER’s research excellence and innovation capacity in the field of aerial robotics, in the various strategic research domains in this field.
- Improve the networking capacity and scientific visibility of the University of Zagreb.
- Improve UNIZG-FER’s innovation management and technology transfer by strengthening links with the aerial robotics industry.
AeRoTwin aims to lay the foundations for establishing stable cooperation between the University of Zagreb and the main European references in aerial robotics and, in this way, contribute to European cohesion through research and technology transfer.
