CTA participates, on behalf of Andalusia, in a European project (CIP) led by Zabala Innovation Consulting to design the roadmap for the photovoltaic sector and propose the most appropriate policy measures to achieve European technical leadership that translates into competitiveness, growth and job creation in the region.
To achieve this objective, an extensive and powerful network will be created that will include the main key players of the sector in these regions, both on the demand side (120 industries), as well as on the supply side (60 universities/centers) or regulation (6 regional public administrations) to establish and enhance the policy measures developed.
The project, which began in early 2013 with a budget of €157,600 and a duration of one and a half years, will focus on the analysis of three regions, where the implementation of the proposed policies and measures will also be a priority: Andalusia, Rhône-Alpes and Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony. Along with Zabala, as project leader, and CTA, as Andalusia’s representative, the French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission (CEA) and the Austrian consulting firm Projectkompetenz are also participating in the project.
