The TRACK project aims to create an interregional ecosystem to stimulate innovative solutions for the agri-food chain on the one hand, and joint investments to move towards agribusiness 4.0 on the other. It will focus on the value chain of vegetable production, intensifying the fertilization between the ICT sectors such as Big data and traceability and actors of the agri-food industry, especially SMEs.
To this end, the specific objectives of the TRACK project are:
- To build a common vision among the clusters members of the consortium, to face the challenge of adapting new technologies to improve the efficiency and traceability of food value chains based on plant production.
- Propose a joint implementation of an action plan to stimulate innovation, business and investment that contribute to improving the efficiency and traceability of the food chain.
- Create an inter-regional cross-fertilization system between the ICT/traceability & big data sector and the agri-food sector, and collaborative tools between actors.
- Strengthen and surface pilot projects to facilitate the development of promising solutions.
- To support selected ICT SMEs to accelerate the deployment of their solutions for the agri-food sector.
This project is part of the COSME CLUSTER PARTNERSHIP (European strategic cluster partnerships for smart specialization investments) call, whose objective is to promote competitiveness and industrial investment in the European Union through trans-regional cooperation and networks, reinforcing the implementation of the European Strategic Cluster Partnership.
