As a result of the identification of a new strategic line related to the bioeconomy and the bioproducts market, CTA undertook in 2014 a series of positioning and network building actions, including the submission of a coordination and support action to the corresponding call of the H2020 program.
The project, called Biodeal, aimed to carry out a capacity study to develop a “bio” economy based on bioproducts and applying biotechnology to reduce energy dependence, achieving sustainable processing of chemical compounds, materials and fuels from biomass.
