CTA participates in the European project METASTARS to support SMEs in the European aerospace and defense ecosystem (ASD)

The European project METASTARS has just started with the participation of CTA (Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía) and with the aim of creating a group of European clusters to support SMEs in the aerospace and defense ecosystem (ASD).

The project, which has held its kick-off meeting in Toulouse, will offer financial support to SMEs to develop innovative projects and benefit from services to adapt to new technologies, to develop or strengthen their green and digital transition, their innovation potential, their internationalization strategy towards Japan and Canada and the training of its workforce.

METASTARS will foster the creation of an aerospace and defense ecosystem that will provide a wide range of services to ASD SMEs across Europe, supporting innovation, favoring the resilience of SMEs and the green and digital transition. Likewise, it also aims to diversify markets, creating new opportunities between different sectors and at an international level.

Among the activities included in this project, the development of joint actions between different clusters to improve development and internationalization strategy skills stands out.

To do this, METASTARS will carry out staff training actions such as workshops or training courses that will benefit 150 workers and 130 companies and SMEs.
