The Aerospace technical officer at CTA, Silvia de los Santos, has presented the second call for proposals of the European project GALACTICA to more than 60 attendees at a conference held on February 10th in Brussels, in a hybrid format.

The companies Titania (Spain), Vienna Textile Lab (Austria) and Astradyne (Italy), all beneficiaries of the first call for proposals, have also participated in the event to show their experience with GALACTICA project and its funded projects.

The GALACTICA call for propposals is aimed at European SMEs and startups with innovative solutions that can be part of cross-border value chains in the textile and aerospace sectors. The deadline for submitting proposals is open until March 30th, 2022 and is done through the project’s web platform: calls.galacticaproject.eu.

AEI Tèxtils (coordinator) and ATEVAL make up the rest of the Spanish partners out of a total of 10 European entities. The project is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
