CTA and the European project P5 Innobroker have held a meeting with Areciar, the public company of the consortium for Water Supply and Sanitation Plan of Écija, to provide support services in Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI).
Specifically, the coordinator of the P5 Innobroker project and CTA’s CPI expert, Carlos García, has advised Areciar in the definition of its Early Demand Map, from which several Innovation Public Procurement initiatives will emerge in the coming months and which will be promoted through the ConneCTA platform.
The P5 Innobroker project, which is led by CTA, provides technical support to public buyers in the definition and implementation of Public Procurement of Innovation cases. This is a strategic project for the European Commission and financed by the COSME program, which aims to promote the launch and execution of Public Procurement of Innovation initiatives due to their energizing effect on the business fabric and the modernization of Public Administrations.
CTA leads this European project in which five other European entities also participate: the Ea Ecoentreprises cluster (France), the Hellas Technology Center of Thessaloniki (Greece), the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce, the Larnaca Regional Development Agency and Famagusta ( Cyprus) and the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
