The European project SCALE-UP, of which CTA is a partner, organised its second consortium meeting in Warsaw, Poland, on 31st May and 1st June. The meeting was organised by UNIMOS Alliance, one of the nine members of this initiative funded by the European Horizon Programme of the European Union. CTA’s Innovation consultant, María Nieto, attended the general meeting to share the news of the work developed from Andalusia with the rest of the partners.
Specifically, CTA is leading the SCALE-UP work package called ‘Bio-based Business Models, Value Chains and Markets’, which aims to generate the necessary spaces and conditions for co-creation, transparency and open innovation and to provide innovation support services for biomass-based solutions in six European regions.
In addition to an update on the project status and progress, the consortium meeting included visits to the city of Radom to learn about its investment possibilities and innovation ecosystem, to an apple farm in Komorów and the World Cafe methodology was used for partners to work together on different aspects of SCALE-UP.
