The aerospace technical officer at CTA, Silvia de los Santos, and the innovation consultant, Marina Barquero attended the ninth edition of the European Cluster Conference, organized under the umbrella of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU, which took place at the Center Square Conference Center in Brussels on May 7 and 8, 2024.
The CTA team attended to represent the European project METASTARS, of which CTA is part of the consortium. This event has been a great opportunity to showcase the results of METASTARS, forge new connections and strengthen existing ones with other clusters and Euroclusters across Europe.
In addition, our head of the aerospace sector participated in the round table on Metaclusters. In it, Silvia de los Santos Trigo shared ideas about how the collaboration of clusters can contribute to building new value chains or remodeling existing ones.
The event, organized by the European Commission, in collaboration with the Belgian regions and with the support of the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), aimed to highlight the vital role of clusters in advancing the industrial priorities of the EU.
In this edition, the European Cluster Conference featured two high-level panels and 12 parallel sessions with 56 speakers, more than 700 attendees and a combination of 800 formal and informal meetings during matchmaking.
