The director of Consultancy and International Projects at CTA, David Páez, and the the Building and Civil Engineering technical officer, Carlos García, have given an information session on Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) and its advantages to employees of the Board of Trustees of the Alhambra and the Generalife, the entity in charge of the protection, administration and conservation of the Monumental Complex of the Alhambra and the Generalife, and the Andalusian buildings assigned for its management and located in the city of Granada.
CTA representatives detailed the keys to this instrument for public procurement of innovative products and services and its advantages for possible tenders in the future.
In addition, Carlos García, CPI expert at CTA, reported on the P5 Innobroker project and its role of intermediation and support in this type of processes. CTA leads the P5 Innobroker project, considered strategic by the European Commission and financed by the European Cosme programme, which aims to promote the launch and execution of Public Procurement of Innovation initiatives due to its energizing effect on the private sector and the modernization of Public Administrations.
