CTA will participate in the Expobiomasa fair presenting three of its European projects

On May 9th, the CTA consultant María García will participate in the Expobiomasa professional fair, an event that will be held on May 9th, 10th and 11th, 2023 at Feria de Valladolid (Avda. Valladolid) and that will serve to publicize the novelties of the biomass sector. The fair, organized by the Spanish Biomass Association (AVEBIOM), has more than 350 exhibitors, the presence of more than 30 countries and an average of 12,000 visitors each year.

Specifically, CTA will present three of its European projects related to biomass: BIOTRANSFORM, ROBIN and SCALE-UP. These presentations will be made in the networking section for projects that Expobiomasa has prepared in order to generate new synergies and bring attendees new formulas for the use of biomass. The conference will have the collaboration of more than 10 national and European innovation projects.

About the projects

The European project BIOTRANSFORM aims to provide European policy makers with an appropriate policy assessment and development framework, a knowledge base and a support ecosystem of experts to accelerate the transition from fossil-based linear systems to circular biotechnology-based systems.

While the ROBIN project seeks to promote innovative governance models in Circular Bioeconomy to help regional administrations accelerate the green transition.

For its part, SCALE-UP pursues the creation of networks for sustainable rural development and support for regional actors (farmers, companies, associations, entrepreneurs, researchers and Public Administration) in the identification and development of innovative business models based on bioeconomy.
