The European project BioINSouth unveils its logo
  • The design features elements and curves that visually reinforce the idea of collaboration and circularity.
  • The new logo, adaptable, simple, and easy to recognize, will be implemented on all platforms, both digital and physical, where the project has a presence.

The BioINSouth project (Supporting regional environmental sustainability assessment for the BIObased sectors to improve INnovation, INdustries and INclusivity in SOUTH Europe), funded by the Circular Bio-based Europe (CBE JU) program, has unveiled its logo. Its simple yet innovative design was created after several months of collaboration among the various partners that make up the consortium, with the aim of visually projecting the project’s mission, which is to support environmental sustainability and the bioeconomy in the southern regions of Europe.

The logo combines a carefully selected color palette to convey the purpose and values of BioINSouth. These colors have not only been selected for their visual impact but also for the sensations and emotions they can convey, such as a commitment to the environment, vitality, and the drive towards a more eco-friendly future.

The yellow of the sun symbolizes renewable energies, the potential, and the dynamism that characterize the regions of southern Europe. On the other hand, green represents sustainability and the project’s interest in integrating the bioeconomy into the needs of the different regions that are part of the consortium. Lastly, turquoise suggests innovation and change, conveying the transformative capacity of activities based on the ecological transition.

Moreover, the shapes visually reinforce the idea of collaboration and circularity, something that reflects the essence of the initiative, which aims to create regional hubs where policymakers, experts, the business world, and representatives of civil society interact.

Finally, the font, clear and legible, ensures the logo’s adaptability to various formats, guaranteeing its correct display on all digital and physical platforms where BioInSouth is advertised.
