The Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) leads the European INNOWWIDE project in which Corporación Tecnológica de Andalucía (CTA) also participates as a partner.

The INNOWWIDE project is supported by the European H2020 program and has a budget of 7.2 million euros to finance some 120 feasibility studies of international business plans for innovative SMEs.

The objective of the project is to finance studies with a strong external presence in close collaboration with entities and companies in third countries.

The studies financed by INNOWWIDE should address the technical, commercial and financial feasibility of the proposed business models, identifying key practical aspects to ensure their subsequent technological and commercial development and their successful implementation in cooperation with entities in the target countries.

The first call will be launched in April 2019 and will grant €60,000 per project on a flat-rate basis, a new procedure being tested by the European Commission to simplify the justification of grants received. The second and final call will be launched in 2020.

This project involves 11 partners from 7 European countries, including two international organizations: the European Business Network (EBN) accelerator and the Eureka Secretariat.

CTA activity

CTA participates in the design of the funding instrument that will launch the INNOWWIDE project, as well as the impact assessment and the formulation of recommendations to the European Commission and member states.
