The Malaga-based company Iboardings.com has obtained, with the advice and support of CTA, a participative loan from the National Innovation Entity (ENISA) in the amount of €300,000 to finance its expansion and diversification into new innovative solutions for airports.
“Thanks to CTA, we have obtained the funds to advance our business plan,” says CEO and founder, José Luis Cámara, who adds that “we value the service provided by CTA, which has been able to transfer the complexity of our business to an application with professionalism, dedication and proximity, understanding at all times the peculiarities of our company”.
Iboardings.com is a technology-based startup dedicated to the development of innovative solutions for airports through hardware, software and disruptive technologies. Its first product was a smart device with machine vision and IoT to facilitate much more efficient screening and management of carry-on baggage at airports.
ENISA’s loan will help the company to finance its expansion and diversify into new products, such as the 3D printing of its baggage control machines, which will make it possible to manufacture them in recycled plastic, resulting in cost savings and a lower environmental impact.
The support provided by CTA to Iboardings.com is part of its support service for raising external financing for technology-based entrepreneurs, with which it has a success rate of over 45% in the Neotec program of the CDTI (@CDTIoficial) and over 94% in ENISA, among other programs.
